Five injured as car and taxi crash

FIVE people were taken to hospital and one person was in a critical condition yesterday following a late-night crash involving a taxi.

One woman suffered serious injuries in the crash, which happened at around 11.10pm on Thursday on the A4161 Lansdowne Road junction with Cowbridge Road East, Canton, Cardiff.

The incident involved a black and white Volkswagen Caddy Taxi and a black Volvo car.

In total, five people were taken to the University Hospital of Wales, and one woman was in a critical condition after suffering serious injuries.
