John, publish your list of miscreants
JOHN Humphreys, freed from the constraints of Radio 4, is a joy to behold. He tells us he doesn’t trust Boris Johnson (They said what,WM July 27). Who does?
I think he should publish a list of some more miscreants. I could help him with a few. We had the much-vaunted war leader Winston Churchill demanding that his air force remain grounded while German bombers flew up the east coast to devastate Coventry. He didn’t want the “enemy” to know “our” boffins had already cracked their code. Trustworthy? I guess not.
Then there was Tony Blair using his “dodgy dossier” to start the Iraq war, with all its tragic consequences. Trustworthy? I guess not.
