Tiff Davies, 20, Hengoed: ”I have got a long list, pyjamas, socks, bags, shoes. I have been busy planning my trip.

“I have seen pastel heels and saw them on sale in America, and they look really good.

“I was expecting a queue, but not this long. It does seem to be quick.”

Linda Draper, 58, from Penlan: “I am looking for pyjamas, slippers and a bit of make-up.

“I can’t wait to get in. “I love it because it is cheap and it is nice to get out after all this time.”

Hubert Rabinski, 18, from Cardiff: Hubert, who is originally from Poland, said: “I am looking for something possibly denim, and something for the spring.

“I have also come as moral support for my friends.”

Rhiannon Coomber, 36, from Pontyclun: Rhiannon was shopping in Cardiff this morning and said: “I am here for the new maternity range. I am looking for big-size clothes.

“I go in for some socks and come out with nearly £200 worth of stuff for the family.”

Cardiff University student Jordana: “I am looking for basics. Underwear and all that kind of stuff, and some shoes.

“I’ve been looking forward to just getting out and about.”

Friend Georgia said: “I want some summer dresses and some shoes.”

Paige Anstee, 28, from Porth: “I am so desperate for new clothes that I want to get everything. Primark is the main one that I am looking at today.

“I really want some new summer clothes so I am ready when the sun comes out.”

Angharad Davies from Bridgend: “Everything, literally everything. I don’t mind waiting, I just want to see everything they have in there.

“I have missed shopping.

“You can do it online but it is just not the same.”

New mum Sham Awad, 26, from Penllergae­r: “I am going to buy pyjamas because Primark is number one for pyjamas and I hate shopping online. This is my first time out shopping with my baby.”
