Heading towards a Plaid-Labour rule
ON May 6 we will see the usual poor polling figures for the Welsh Senedd elections. This exaggerates the importance of minorities like Plaid Cymru, but it will certainly not help Labour.
Few people in north-east Wales do not realise what is going on, as their television are tuned to BBC North West and Granada.
As a life long Labour supporter I can sadly no longer vote for them (and there are some very decent folk still there), as they are now allowing candidates to be pro independence.
If I wanted that disastrous scenario to happen I would vote for Plaid Cymru.
Furthermore on May 7 their disastrous smacking legislation will come into force.
They realised that it would affect them at the polls so they deviously delayed enactment of it, until after the election.
Says everything really. Furthermore they wish to micromanage your child’s morality with their new curriculum that replaces RE. There is no opt-out. It rather resembles a totalitarian regime.
So if you value free thought and want to be safer from an Assembly that thinks it’s a parliament, beware that on May 7 the prospect of waking up to a Plaid Cymru -Labour coalition is highly likely.
I’m swallowing my pride and voting Conservative, as other minor parties will only strengthen the hand of Plaid and Labour.
I am Welsh and have learnt to speak the language, but I love my country and that country first and foremost is the United Kingdom. Robert Ian Williams
