As for the itinerary?

Your first port of call will be in Santorini. You may have already seen those iconic whitewashe­d buildings and blue- domed

Wander through the cobbled streets and take in the views over the sapphire waters of the Aegean Sea before settling down at one of the countless traditiona­l t avernas, where delicious cocktails (or a glass of Ouzo) and meze platters await.

Next on the itinerary will be a trip to the rugged coastline of the

Bay of Kotor, an old port in Montenegro which has long drawn in intrepid explorers, thanks to its jagged, mountainou­s surroundin­gs, c h a r mi n g red-roofed Venetian buildings and artificial island Our Lady of the Rocks, built on sunken ships.

Messina, the gateway to Sicily, will be the third destinatio­n on the itinerary, boasting wide boulevards and an impressive cathedral. Foodies will want to try swordfish, which is a local delicacy here, while hikers can take a trip to take in views of Mount Etna. From Messina it’s on to the historic Italian city of Naples, where you can expect views of awe-inspiring Mount Vesuvius, sample someof the world’s best pizza, andsoak up heaps of history and culture – including a trip to Pompeii.

Your holiday will end i n Barcelona, where you’ll disembark from Regal Princess and head to the airport for your flight back home.
