Wales star Harding to move on from Reading
WALES centurion and Reading captain Natasha Harding will leave the Women’s Super League club at the end of the season.
The 33-year-old former Cardiff City Ladies player, who has been an ever-present for Reading this season, departs after five years with the club.
Harding, who became the eighth player to represent Wales 100 times in April, has made 83 league appearances since joining from Liverpool in 2017.
She played for Cardiff City Ladies for five years, captaining the side, before switching to Bristol Academy and really establishing herself as a top-level player.
“I’d like to thank Tash for everything she has done in her time with the club,” Reading manager Kelly Chambers said.
“She’s been an integral part of the team and been a huge part of our growth as a club.
“Personally I have grown a great relationship with Tash both personally and professionally, and I’d like to wish her the very best for the future.”
Harding’s final Reading game will be on Sunday when Harding’s former club Manchester City visit Berkshire.as the FA Women’s Super League campaign comes to an end.
The Wales vice-captain said: “My time at Reading has come to an end. I’d like to thank the club, staff, the fans and my teammates for my time there.
“As one chapter ends, I’m extremely excited for my next challenge. Mentally and physically I feel my best. It’s been a pleasure.”
