Cyclist dies after road accident

A CYCLIST has died after an accident near an Ammanford bookshop.

There were no other vehicles involved in the incident in Cwmamman Road, and police are appealing for witnesses.

The incident happened at around 8.45pm last Friday outside the Discovery Bookshop.

Dyfed-Powys Police said that the 58-year-old male rider of the pedal cycle suffered serious injuries and died in hospital.
