Apathy not confined to the city’s voters
THE general population is often accused of having an apathy towards politics.
However, it appears that the same can be said of the political parties themselves.
I had a postal vote in Cardiff’s Butetown ward; yet I received only one electoral communication from any of the parties – from Plaid Cymru.
I put my vote into the post – there’s no prizes for guessing who I voted for!
It appears to be a truism that, through their apathy, we could well not get the politicians we deserve.
