Software giant sales ‘resilient’

THE boss of global software giant Sage Group has said the uncertain economic and geopolitical environment is not affecting sales as more small and mid-size businesses bought into its cloud services.

The group reported a “strong” performance in the six months to the end of March, with its organic total revenue growing by 5% to £924m while like-for-like revenue grew by 8%. Its cloud services drove the positive performance as revenues grew by 21% to £572m.
