Fail to ask questions and be the bigger fool

-

“I am a fool and a fool asks questions. Those who do not ask questions are the biggest fools ever.”

Ask yourself a question – how often have you questioned the details given you concerning the Swansea Blue Eden project?

I’ve asked many questions myself and searched for answers myself. Let’s look at some examples:

(a) The Tidal Lagoon proposed for Swansea in the Blue Eden project – according to the developers – will produce “320 MegaWatts”. Have you asked what that means? Well, it means 320,000 single-bar old electric fires at one instant. That figure is probably the maximum at the instant of greatest output at the most favourable tide level. But that’s only for an instant. To get the true picture you need megawatt hours over a whole year – as four times a day the figure will be nil when tides equate. Have you asked what will be the total MWHrs for the year and divided that figure by 365 and further divided that by 24 to get the average figure over the year?

(b) As it will be linked to tides and tidal surge – have you asked where the power will come from when we get the four nil periods?
