Great Britain and UK not the same thing
WHEN Margaret Phelps (WM letters, May 16) refers to the unity of Great Britain she means the United Kingdom.
Great Britain is just the main island of the British Isles containing England, Scotland and Wales, so the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Anglesey, the Hebrides, Orkneys, Shetlands, Scilly Isles, Bardsey Island, Caldey Island, Flatholm and Steepholm are not in Great Britain, though of course they are in the United Kingdom.
