Crowds take to the streets to run the Cardiff 10K
THE crowds came out for the annual Cardiff Bay 10K yesterday, as runners of all abilities took the city route once again.
With the race forming part of the Healthspan Wales 10K Series, which also includes events in Newport, Porthcawl and Barry, the Bay 10K attracted plenty of elite athletes alongside charity and fun runners enjoying the support of the hundreds who lined the streets.
Omar Ahmed was crowned the winner of the race with Dewi Griffiths second and Abed Teweldebrhan third.
The leading women home were Olivia Tsim, followed by Rachel Davies and Donna Morris.
