Chiefs fans get to know their man
LOUIS Rees-Zammit is a household name in Wales but in the US he will be a bit more obscure, despite grabbing headlines since his switch Stateside.
As such, his new team the Chiefs conducted a quickfire question and answer session with their new signing so that supporters can get to know him a little better.
Here are his answers.
Q. Where are you from?
From Wales, in the United Kingdom.
Q. What’s your favourite movie?
Titanic! Haha, don’t ask why but I love that movie!
Q. What kind of music do you listen to?
I’m a very chilled guy so I like to listen to Beyonce, she’s probably my favourite artist. Adele... so that’s pretty much my pre-game music!
Q. Do you have any hobbies?
Sport is pretty much my life, but I like gaming and I like spending time with my family and friends.
Q. Why American football?
The why is... my dad is a massive role model for me, so being able to this for him and my mum is massive. There’s not many two-sport athletes out there so for myself I want to be able to do that and inspire a lot of people back home and to be able to take this journey and lead a pathway for international players.
Q. What’s your favourite food?
Italian.
Q. What’s the difference between rugby and the NFL?
Knowledge. You have to learn a lot more in the NFL compared to rugby.
Q. What’s your favourite football club?
Manchester United.
Q. Are you excited to play with Patrick Mahomes?
100 per cent! I’m excited to play with him, I’m excited to play with the whole team. I can’t wait to get going and show everyone what I can do and I want to help the team as best as possible.
Q. What do you know about the Kansas City Chiefs?
I know they’ve got crazy fans who support them all the way. They’ve got a great team, great stadium, just can’t wait to get started!
