■ LUKE Williams says decisions on new deals for Swansea City’s out-of-contract stars will be “public knowledge very soon”.

Joe Allen, Kyle Naughton, Jamie Paterson, Prezmyslaw Placheta, Liam Walsh and Nathanael Ogbeta are all coming to the end of their current contracts in SA1.

Nothing appears to be confirmed as of yet, but Williams is understood to be keen on keeping some experienced heads on board for at least another season.

When asked if there could be any movement this week, Williams replied: “Possibly, yes.

“Things will be knowledge very soon.

“We draw a line under the season now and hopefully we can build steadily for pre-season and have a good season ahead of us.

“There’s a huge amount of work and hopefully we are already ahead of schedule.

“We have to try and bring the correct people in and strengthen and then try to make sure we have the majority of the players together for a good pre-season.

“I’m not really interested in a break to be honest, I’m not bothered because I’m a working class guy and need to work”.

Meanwhile, loan duo Charlie Patino and Harrison Ashby have taken to social media to bid their farewells to Swansea City.

Patino, who’s recently been linked with a move to Serie A, is poised to head back to parent club Arsenal this summer, having scored four goals and earned four assists in 35 appearances.

Taking to X after the final day defeat to Millwall, Patino wrote: “Thank you Swansea. Wishing you all the best for next season!”

His message came on the back of a similar goodbye from Ashby, who his similarly set to head back to Newcastle United this summer.

Ashby wrote on Instagram “A big thank you to everyone involved at @swansofficial, a club filled with incredible people, people who I’ve made friends for life and an unbelievable fan base, want to wish them the best of luck for the future”. public
