Agents from Cornwall-based Cole Rayment and White have returned from their latest bi-annual London Property Exhibition, held in Park Lane at the Guild of Property Professionals’ National Property Centre. The stunning scenery of Cornwall has been wowing house hunters from the capital, as it rolls across several screens in a dazzling display.
Pete Olivey from the firm’s Padstow office says: “Once again we are delighted with the results of our London Property Exhibition, which has given us a chance to meet clients and potential customers and of course our colleagues in our London office, who deal with inquiries and take telephone calls for us throughout the year.”
Cole Rayment and White’s Jeff Cole adds: “We know that not all of our potential buyers are from our local area, with many from London and overseas interested in relocating, upsizing, investing in or purchasing another home.
“Access to London buyers can require a significant budget and resources, and we are delighted to have this powerful marketing tool enabling us to expose our clients’ property to both a national and international source of potential purchasers.”
After a six-figure refit, The National Property Centre provides a central London marketing hub. North Cornwall takes over next on Friday, May 3 2019.
Symonds & Sampson’s Axminster-based agricultural team are expanding this autumn with the arrival of Annabel Douglas MRICS, a Rural Chartered Surveyor.
Annabel will offer a range of professional services, focusing on all aspects of planning, professional valuations, environmental management schemes, BPS and estate/farm management. Having previously worked as a planning officer, Annabel is extremely well versed in how the planning system operates locally. She will be able to assist clients and other professionals, undertaking ‘red book’ valuations for probate, capital gains tax and secured lending.
“After a year working alongside the company’s head of planning, Edward Dyke, I am very excited to be ‘coming home’ and joining the thriving team at Axminster,” says Annabel. “My role will be to broaden Axminster’s professional services while building long-term customer relationships.”
Partner Ross Willmington says: “I am delighted that Annabel has joined us to enhance our department’s professional services, particularly helping the rural sector. Our department has gone from strength to strength in recent years, with annually increasing sales of farms, country houses and land in East Devon and West Dorset.”
