Charged up for Christmas Day turkey dinner
The sale today at New Road, Callington, has more than 350 items and some interesting collectables.
A splendid blue and white charger has a country house scene and is from the early 19th century and ideal for Christmas Day turkey.
Among the 20 various paintings are a fine pair by John Miller of Sennon by moonlight and Porthmeor surf. The watercolour of Mt Orgveil Jersey is in its original frame and very evocative of this geographical feature.
There is a watercolour of Southgate, Launceston, from the early part of the 20th century. The Paul Klee painting of sunset is on a board and he is a popular Cornwall artist.
