Missing man – body is found

POLICE have found a body in the search for missing man Bruce Bower.

Officers located the body of a man in an area of countryside near Budleigh Salterton. Mr Bower, 43, has not been seen since leaving his home in the East Devon town on Wednesday morning.

Police said: “The family of Mr Bower have been informed of the discovery. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.”
