Is this the Grim Reaper I see before me?

CHARLES Letchford’s (WMN, December 10) timely reference to the topical phrase, ‘...there is a light at the end of the tunnel’ may have far greater implications that just the appearance of a train.

Given the warnings from Messrs Witty, Valance and Van Tam of the dire consequences of failing to adhere to the various Tier regulations while the vaccination programme is rolled out, it may give rise to an alternative scenario.

That of the light at the end of the tunnel manifesting as the Grim Reaper with a torch!
