Blame rule breakers, not PM, for deaths

-

I MUST take issue with Shaun Shute when he states “Johnson must stand aside before 100,000 deaths become 200,000 deaths “.

You simply cannot apportion blame to one person! This pandemic is uncharted territory and I think the work done by the NHS, scientists and the Government has been measured and robust.

Replacing the Prime Minister is not the answer at this stage. As in any unprecedented situation wrong decisions and mistakes are inevitable when trying to strike a fine balance between the wellbeing of the population and the economy.

The rules and regulations laid down by the Government have been restricting and harsh but understandable for the greater good.

Annoyingly, it is the significant number within our population that persist in flouting the rules and directions who are at fault and responsible for a large amount of those deaths; they can’t all be attributed to one man.

The deaths, most likely, will reach 200,000 if those guilty of bending the rules continue to do so with impunity ! Toe the line, look closer to home and leave Boris alone.
