Another time-wasting result of Brexit
MY brother, Peter, lives in Portugal. A friend gave me some 20 photographs of his wedding, from 30 years ago, and I put them in an envelope to send to him.
A five-minute queue at the Totnes post office was followed by another four minutes, whilst we had to complete a customs declaration form – all for postage that cost only £3.25. Perhaps some clever politician could explain the reason for such a timewasting, unintended, consequence of Brexit? And could we expect to ever see them in a post office queue for a similar petty problem?
