CLEAN and tidy the greenhouse. Wash the glass inside and out so it’s ready once the weather improves.

KEEP off grass while it’s frozen or very wet, but as conditions improve start raking out moss and repair broken lawn edges or re-turf worn out areas.

BRING pots of alpines and dwarf bulbs into the conservatory or porch to encourage them into bloom early. Evergreens are good for interest out of season, no heating needed.
