CONGRATULATIONS to Heathcoat Fabrics, a Tiverton-based textile company, for supplying NASA with the parachute fabric that enabled the space agency to safely land its Perseverance rover safely on the Red Planet.

Heathcoat fabrics has established a reputation for its technical expertise, having supplied the parachute fabric for the Huygens probe on Titan, Beagle 2 on Mars and the return capsules to Earth from the International Space Station.
