Thugs steal motorhome from Devon couple

-

A COUPLE from Devon have been left with nothing but the clothes on their backs after thieves stole their motorhome and possessions in broad daylight in Walsall.

Max Flint, 29, and Jasmine Coaker, 28, from Exeter, along with their dog Travis, were in the West Midlands when the incident took place.

The couple parked their motorhome on Chapel Street outside of a shop and in view of CCTV whilst Max was inside getting the tattoo.

Max, who is from North Devon, said: “Jasmine was in the van with Travis and briefly popped out to take him for a walk around midday and that’s when it happened.

“Myself and Jasmine managed to track the camper down, where it was dumped in the Burntwood area.

“Long story short the thieves were forced to get rid of the camper as it was getting shared everywhere. It was too hot to handle to be honest.

“It was absolutely trashed inside and literally everything had gone.

“They took totally everything – my motorcross bike and around £2,000 worth of electrical equipment.”

He said: “Some people just see it as a motorhome but it’s the equivalent of you going to work coming home and not only have all of your belongings stolen, but your house gone as well.’’

Max says that he thinks the individuals who stole the camper van must have been watching them for a while.

He said many items could be replaced, although it would be expensive, but trophies won for motocross and a computer full of pictures were irreplacable.
