’Beautiful girl’, 8, dies after collision with car
The family of an eight-yearold killed in a car crash have paid tribute to their “beautiful girl”. Emily Connor, from Chesterfield, Derbyshire, a pedestrian, died after she was in collision with a Vauxhall Corsa in Salford, at about 10.40am on Saturday. She was pronounced dead at the scene In a tribute, issued via Greater Manchester Police, her family said: “To our Emily, the kindest person we ever knew. Rest in peace beautiful girl.”
