Man arrested for theft of police van

A man, 27, has been arrested in connection with the theft of a marked police van from a station car park. On Saturday evening a Vauxhall Vivaro was spotted by members of the public after it had been stolen from Lowestoft police station. The van was reported to have been seen being driven erratically in Pakefield, Kessingland and Halesworth. The van was spotted abandoned in Bungay, which is around 15 miles away from the station, at around 1am on Sunday
