Brexit a distraction from pressing issues
Some 75% of Britons believe Brexit is distracting attention from more pressing issues, a poll suggests. Populus surveyed 2,096 people and found the majority of them agreed with the statement: “Brexit is distracting too much attention from more pressing issues, like the NHS, schools, automation and social care.” It added 20% disagreed with the statement. The poll, commissioned by the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and
Commerce, saw respondents suggests “ordinary citizens” have the ideas to meet the challenges facing the country.
