People have already voted in 2016

Western Morning News - - Letters -

So Councillor Malcolm Brown, Liberal Democrat, is to ask Cornwall Council to support a People’s Vote on Brexit.

I suggest Councillor Brown has a close look at the title of the party of which he is a member. Liberal Democrat.

The answer is in the title. The “people” had a chance to vote in 2016 and the majority voted to leave the EU. Can I ask Councillor Brown which part of this democratic process he does not understand?

Excellent letter from Paul Mercer (“MPs must thrash out proper Brexit deal”,

WMN, November 28). Spot on.
