Man is taken to mental health unit

A man in his 30s has been taken to a mental health unit after an incident at Plymouth Railway Station. At around 7.40pm on Saturday, police were told of a group of unruly passengers on-board a train heading into Plymouth. Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said: “There was an aggressive passenger on a train. It looks like a person then ran off onto the tracks, and then he climbed onto the bridge above the railway line.” He was taken to the city’s Glenbourne Unit.
