No way of escaping Brussels black hole

-

IF there is one thing that has become increasingly apparent as the farce that Brexit progresses (or perhaps, more appropriately, doesn’t) is that astonishingly, it was a great deal easier for the enslaved satellite nations of the former USSR to escape the chains that bound them to Moscow than it is for an EU member state to extricate itself from the clutches of Brussels.

Brussels is a black hole - once drawn in, there’s no way of escaping from it

In attempting to do so the ‘Mother of Parliaments’ has turned itself into the biggest circus in the world - in which all the performers are clowns (although no one is laughing - except that is for people in other countries who are watching a Whitehall farce that even the master of the genre, the great Brian Rix couldn’t have dreamed up).

I fear that the 17.4 million of us who voted to quit the EU must now face reality and accept that the dream of Brexit is dead - and along with it , democracy.
