DON’T MISS THE CHANCE TO ENTER BUSINESS AWARDS

- CHARLOTTE TURNER charlotte.turner@reachplc.com

IT’S your last chance to apply for the Western Morning News Business Awards, and this year is not to be missed.

The annual awards which culminate in a glittering gala in the Plymouth Pavilions, will also celebrate 160 years of the Western Morning News.

It will be a spectacular event where the best businesses in the South West will be crowned.

The accolades from the awards can give businesses a real boost, and can be helpful to attract new staff, suppliers and create new customers.

From Micro Business of the Year to Exporter of the Year, every business has been thought of in the categories, and the awards are a way to really stand out and shine a light on who you are, what you do and how well you do it.

Soon, a panel of expert judges will come together to whittle down the worthy businesses into a shortlist, which will be announced shortly after.

Judges include Bill Martin, the editorin-chief of the Western Morning News, Kim Conchie, CEO of the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce, Dickon Court of Foot Anstey, Garry Thompson, CEO of Computech, Charlotte Turner, business editor for the Western Morning News, Sally Bell, head of external communications for Openreach, Paul Crawford, chief executive of Live West and Julia Green of Browne Jacobson.

Entries close on September 15 and the awards night is set for November 21 at Plymouth Pavilions.

All of the information on what needs to be included in the application can be found here. It really doesn’t take long, and applying for the awards is free.

We look forward to celebrating with you at the glittering event towards the end of the year.
