Boris can’t do his job without Cummings

-

THE PM has been blustering politically about the activity of Dominic Cummings and doing great damage to his position, but more especially to British people’s support of the response to the coronavirus pandemic. If he had come clean and admitted that his aide had done the wrong thing in breaking the national rules but that Mr Cummings was so important to him in helping to overcome this virus (and rule the country) that he was prepared to keep him in position despite this major error, then the PM would not have found himself and his cabinet in such an untenable position.

It is a shameful (but probably true) position to be in, that Mr Johnson is so dependent on this unelected aide in acting as Prime Minister that he is prepared to defend him and risk undermining the support of the people of Great Britain in these extremely difficult times.

Dominic should go!! (but would Mr Johnson be able to continue without him?)
