IT’S the Strictly grand final a mere 24 hours from when this show kicks off, so that also means it’s the last It Takes Two of the year.
This companion show is always a treat; giving us a Strictly fix every weekday evening, the chance to see the couples in training and also letting their hair down, but it’s been especially welcome as 2020 has meant we’ve needed the Strictly sparkle more than ever.
Co-hosts Zoe Ball and Rylan Clark-Neal, inset, have done a brilliant job of making things feel as normal al as possible. It’s Rylan in n the hot seat tonight, when he will interview each of the final four couples competing for the glitterball trophy, and get the lowdown on each of the three dances they’ll be performing – the judges’ favourite, their own favourite (yes, Bill and Oti have picked Rapper’s Delight) and of course the no rules spectacular Showdance.
HRVY and Janette will be visiting Boogie Wonderland, Jamie and Karen have appropriately p picked I’m Still Standing, B Bill and Oti go dramatic with Queen’s The Show Must Go On, while Maisie and Gorka go festive with We Need A Little Christmas.
As ever, Gethin Jones will be in the Strictly studios to watch rehearsals and catch up with all the celebs who’ve been eliminated along the way.
And for a special seasonal goodbye, Rick Astley is in the studio to sing us out with his festive track Love This Christmas.
