Extinction Rebellion is a dangerous cult

I THANK Jonathan Hucker for his letter highlighting the latest stupid stunt by Extinction Rebellion (XR). They are now asking their followers to stop making mortgage and credit card payments and take out new loans without intending to pay them back.

Judging by the unwashed weirdos that prance around and glue themselves to objects, it is unlikely that sufficient numbers of them have mortgages or will be able to secure a new loan to make an impact and the financial institutions should have little cause for concern.

This ridiculous plan confirms the Marxist led Extinction Rebellion hides behind climate change, given their real and stated agenda is to overthrow the system and introduce anarchy.

Many gullible people who had genuine concerns for climate change have been fooled by Extinction Rebellion and, in my view, the Government should close down this dangerous cult.
