NEVER one to let the festive season get in the way of a bit of crime-doing, Charity and Mack are at it again. They’re trying to rob a delivery driver, but when it goes wrong Charity improvises and knocks him out with a spanner to the back of the head. Leading to a flirty and romantic atmosphere, naturally, as they sort through the loot in the back of the van. They’re about to kiss, when the driver rudely wakes up and interrupts them.
CORONATION STREET ITV, 7.30pm
PLENTY of us will have woken up with a nasty hangover after Christmas, but no one could be as rough as Peter Barlow. When Daniel finds him in Victoria Gardens, he’s puking and covered in blood. He collapses and is rushed to hospital, where doctors say they’ll do everything they can, but he could well have liver failure. Peter begs Daniel not to tell the rest of the family anything, as he doesn’t want them to see him in that state.
EASTENDERS BBC1, 8.35pm
LINDA’S still desperately trying to get through to Mick, telling him he has to face up to what’s going on with him before he has a breakdown. But will she still be there to help after Max reveals what plans he has for them? Martin opens up to ex-wife Stacey about Ruby wanting a baby, but when his current wife hears about their cosy chat, she’s understandably not happy. Elsewhere, worried about Denise, Kim and Patrick come up with a plan.
