Man seriously hurt after car hit wall

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a crash in Paignton on Boxing Day left one person with serious injuries.

A 23-year-old man from the Paignton area sustained serious injuries when the Citroen C3 vehicle he was travelling in “struck a wall” on Dartmouth Road, officers say.

The incident took place shortly before 7am on the junction between

Dartmouth Road and Great Western Road in the town.

Police said: “A green coloured Citroen C3 struck a wall seriously injuring one of the occupants a 23-year-old male from the Paignton area.

“Enquiries are on-going. If anyone witnessed the collision, please call 101 and quote log 145 of 26 December 2020.”
