Victim left hurt in road rage attack
A ROAD rage driver bit a woman’s face and scarred her for life during a vicious attack which ruined her family’s Christmas.
The female motorist also punched, kicked and pulled out clumps of the 23-year-old’s hair in the street in broad daylight.
The victim needed two stitches to her face and police are investigating what they have called an unprovoked attack.
The victim’s mother, who does not want to be named, said her daughter was afraid to drive and had missed shifts as a carer since the attack last Monday. The other woman drove her silver convertible away after the incident in the Millbridge area of Stoke. The Plymouth mum said after the attack: “She (the other driver) is going to have a lovely Christmas, but Christmas is ruined for all of us. My daughter has been scarred for life over something silly.”
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Police are investigating an unprovoked assault on a woman following a road rage incident in Plymouth.”
Witnesses are asked to contact police via 101@dc.police.uk or by telephone on 101, CR/106636/20.
