JAMIE OLIVER has kept us all cooking this year with his special series filmed at home, and now he’s joining best pal Jimmy Doherty to help us kick off the New Year with this festive feast.
They’re joined by two celebrity guests, in the buff shape of the nation’s PE teacher Joe Wicks, and singer-songwriter Sam Smith. Jamie gets Joe working up a sweat by teaching him to make fresh pasta, and cooking a delicious ricotta and prosciutto ravioli with lemon butter.
For those of us missing the pub, Jimmy gives us a twist on the classic mojito cocktail by adding bubbles and creates his own version of the classic scampi and chips.
Jamie delves into Sam’s
favourite food memories from the Isle of Eriskay in the Outer Hebrides and gives the Scottish food a Mexican flavour, making haggis tacos, perfect for Hogmanay.
