A LANDSLIDE smashed into a residential area near the Norwegian capital, Oslo, yesterday, injuring at least ten people, leaving 21 unaccounted for and destroying several homes, authorities said.
Norwegian police were alerted at 4am local time to the slide in the village of Ask, some 12 miles north-east of Oslo. The so-far unexplained landslide cut across a road through Ask. Video footage showed dramatic scenes, including one house falling into a deep ravine.
