THE BIG NEW YEAR’S IN

THERE won’t be any of the usual New Year’s Eve programming this year, as there won’t really be any of the usual New Year’s Eve fun happening.
We can’t have shots of the enormous crowds lining London’s South Bank for the midnight fireworks, live entertainment shows in front of a big studio audience, or big concerts with top names belting out the hits for happy drunken revellers.
So instead we’ve got
Paddy McGuinness hosting a party. To be fair, he’s invited a load of celebs to join him in this live one-hour entertainment extravaganza to help start the countdown to 2021 and wave goodbye to 2020
(aka boot it out of the door).
We’re being promised fun, music, games and surprises, plus a quiz we can all join in on from the comfort of our sofas (just in case you haven’t done enough Zoom quizzes this year to last you a lifetime).
