"Your sister looks younger than you," Alan commented. Charlie nodded. "My wife is just thirty-seven, and Pam's a good bit younger than she is," he declared. "And it's funny about the ages. The squares of Pam's age and mine is thirty-seven times the sum of our two ages, and the same applies to Bill's age and mine." How old was Charlie?

B: "That's Mike, our eldest. You'll meet his sister Susie this evening," Jim declared. "They re both teenagers." "How old is she?" asked Conor.

Jim chuckled. "You used to like puzzles, so here's one for you," he replied. "The sum of their ages is a prime number, as is their difference, and the sum of those two primes is a perfect square."
