RAMSAY’S 24 HOURS TO HELL AND BACK
Channel 4, 10pm
IT SEEMS unlikely, but apparently there are some restaurants in America that Gordon Ramsay hasn’t yet visited and made people cry in.
And so we’re back with series three of this reality show, where the award-winning shouty chef drives to struggling restaurants across the country in his state-ofthe-art mobile kitchen and command centre, appropriately named Hell on Wheels, and gives himself and his team an unnecessarily short 24 hours to try to bring each of the failing eateries back from the brink of disaster.
First Gordy sends his team in to secretly record all the goings on, then he goes in undercover in a cunning disguise to see the problems for himself.
Then it’s transformation time, with full-on renovations and a new menu, before they reopen for the public.
This first episode is at Lowery’s Seafood Restaurant in Tappahannock, Virginia, where the two brothers in charge are currently at war.
