Lack of common sense on Covid-19

-

IF like me you have a deep mistrust in politicians and so-called experts on Covid, you will be mystified by some of the decisions made.

Surely the first ones to be vaccinated are all hospital staff, from cleaners to surgeons, including all ambulance staff?

Also, if children are to go to school why haven’t teachers and all school staff been vaccinated?

If both of these had been first in line for the Pfizer vaccine it would have very simple to administer, with all of them being in one place, thus overcoming the cold storage problems.

I am sorry to say that a lack of common sense seems to be one of the assets you need to be a politician or Covid expert.

We know that we can’t lock down the virus; all that has happened since the last lockdown is that the virus has mutated and it will again, just as flu does every year.

Countries such as China, Japan, Singapore, etc, are recovering much faster than us because they have a different lifestyle. There are far fewer obese and diabetic people, and they are more disciplined in sticking to rules.

Until we sort our nation’s general health problems out, a virus like Covid-19 will always cause us problems, and we must never let our guard down as other Covids are just around the corner.
