DEATH IN PARADISE

WHITE sand, tropical seas and warm sunshine – remember those? The start of a new series of Death In Paradise is always a tonic when it rolls round every January, but this year it feels like we need the escape more than ever.
The man in charge (ish) these days is Neville Parker, played by the Royle Family’s Ralf Little.
And as ever he almost immediately finds himself running a murder investigation, when one of the reporters from a local TV show is found dead in her swimming pool.
Suspicion falls on the head anchor of ‘Today with Tourné’ Garfield Tourné himself (played by former Casualty doc Patrick Robinson) and/or his daughter and fellow reporter Heléne Tourné, as it looks like there could have been tensions and professional rivalries at play.
Meanwhile JP is dealing with imminent parenthood and trying to manage his former boss Selwyn, after he volunteers his services.
