WTO rules better than this EU deal
THE more details that come to light about the Brexit Agreement signed during the Covid pandemic, the more it reminds me of Labour’s aide Jo Moore suggesting that 9/11 was a “good day to bury bad news”.
I have known used car salesmen who could have negotiated a better deal on behalf of Britain.
The negotiators reminded me of Jackie Gleason as the irate Sheriff in the Bond film, when told 007 was a secret agent replied “on whose side?”
When this poor deal is made even worse for our businesses trading with the EU, by deliberate delays at their ports, etc, I only hope we have the option to revert to WTO rules.
