We must use every weapon against C-19
I HAVE been vaccinating against bacterial, viral, and zoonotic diseases since 1964 and I still am.
Unwanted reactions and cases of ineffectiveness have been infinitessimal in my personal experience. I have had the heartbreak of unsuccessfully treating unvaccinated cases, most of which died. In the case of the current pandemic, we are at war with Covid-19 and its variants, with tens of thousands of people already DEAD. It is essential to employ every weapon at our disposal to reduce cases, especially fatalities.
Thanks to modern science we now have vaccines and hope of reducing that dreadful toll. It is our humanitarian duty to support the fastest possible roll out of vaccinations. Now is not the time to prevaricate or debate the niceties of the immunology. Covid-19 risk is a thousand times greater than the risk of adverse or non reactions to inoculation. Winning this war requires concerted speedy action by the whole population displaying the solidarity of the “Blitz Spirit”.
My message is minimise red tape, get vaccinated asap and help your immune system by regular use of supplements. The only grave questions at the moment, Dr House, are how many more would we need if we had no vaccines?
