Operation to remove lorry stuck in narrow rural lane
AN operation to move a lorry which became stuck down a narrow lane in Truro on Tuesday morning was being undertaken yesterday.
The vehicle had been wedged down Treliske Lane, which links the B3284 and Kenwyn Hill to the A390 and Treliske, since around 8.10am on Tuesday, blocking off traffic attempting to use the popular ‘rat-run’.
The lorry had been trying to make a delivery to the area when it got stuck near Truro Golf Club.
Efforts to remove it from the lane on Tuesday were called off when it became too dark.
Recovery work was being carried out yesterday, and by 10am the lorry had been moved back from where it had been stuck overnight.
