LONDON has hogged the limelight in this show for far too long – now finally, it lands in its brand new Manchester restaurant.
The location may be different, but the heartwarming cupid concept remains.
First in is 23-year-old Tory Jessie, a parliamentary assistant, who likes to talk about sex, politics and religion on a first date, scaring off most men immediately.
Fortunately, her date, 25-yearold journalist Josh, is also not shy about coming forward.
Both describe themselves as “too much”. Will their similarities end in the good kind of fireworks?
Also looking for love is Winston, a 69-year-old ex-roadie who has worked with everyone from the Rolling Stones to Metallica.
A self-confessed ladies’ man, he’s well prepared with a bunch of flowers for 60-year-old glamorous gran Donna.
Elsewhere, a Lithuanian spa therapist wants to start a family with an English gent, and a greasy spoon cafe worker and his casino manager date instantly recognise each other.
