Drugs raids in Cornwall and London
A NUMBER of people have been arrested after simultaneous drugs raids in Bodmin and London.
On Monday, Devon and Cornwall Police’s Cornwall Proactive Disruption Team, along with the force support group and local officers, carried out drugs warrants in Bodmin.
At the same time, the Metropolitan Police carried out linked raids in the capital. The investigation was part of the continued work to take action against county line drug suppliers.
A number of individuals were arrested and drugs seized in both areas. Those arrested have been interviewed and the investigation continues.
Police Inspector for Bodmin and Wadebridge, Regie ButlerCard, said: “Despite the demands of Covid and the lockdown, these individuals continue to peddle their poison and prey on the vulnerable in our community. We will not sit back and let this happen, we will continue to target them and protect our community.
“Please be aware that these people are still active, they are still looking to recruit our kids to help them deal their drugs.”
