So much for travel ban being over
HOPES the US would lift the UK Covid travel ban have been dashed again. The White House had decreed the entry ban would end on 26 January, six days after Joe Biden takes office.
However, just as soon as it was announced, it was reinstalled, the new government saying it was too early to relax restrictions as Covid cases continue to soar.
If anything, America now plans to strengthen public health measures around international travel.
