Man suffers multiple injuries in stab attack
POLICE cordoned off part of a north Devon park after a man was found suffering what police have described as ‘life-threatening injuries’ following a stabbing.
Paramedics from the South Western Ambulance Service were called on Saturday night to Bicclescombe Park in Ilfracombe, where they discovered a man suffering multiple stab wounds.
He was treated at the scene before being taken by Devon Air Ambulance to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, where he remained in a serious condition.
Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed they were called by paramedics at 10.49pm and a cordon was placed at the location where the man was found and a scene guard put in place.
